On Thursday, 21 st June 2018, prof. dr. Andrzej Falniowski, the head of the Department of Malacology at the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland), presented the specificity and restrictions of the usefulness of the morphological and molecular characters in the taxonomy of the snail superfamily Truncatelloidea. He discussed some solutions in the taxonomically doubtful cases on the family level, as well as problems of species boundaries, speciation and phylogeography.
