We participated at the “Cave organisms workshop” held within the 9 th annual meeting of the EFOR network in Paris. The workshop was organized by Sylvie Rétaux, Nicholas Foulkes and Cristiano Bertolucci, and aimed to give an overview of cave-related research in Europe, form new contacts and collaborations, as well as identify potential sources of funding to build a research network for the field. We presented a review of work on the Asellus aquaticus model organism, an important part of our research efforts. Finally, all participants agreed that the workshop was successful and the plan is to organize a similar meeting in the context of EFOR next year in Paris.

We have moved the photographic exhibition to the new location “Knjižnica Prežihov Voranc” in Ljubljana! The exhibition will be there from 8th April till 30th April 2019. On the first day of exhibition, there will be a public lecture on wonders of Dinaric subterranean world. The exhibition was prepared in the frame of European Researcher’s Night.
